Salvation Army Roblox channel

This needs some more unpacking and research, but to develop a (safe) space for youth and children (moreso Children) to play, socialise and discover about faith, Church and God in Roblox. Young people might join a channel and interact wit each other, go on quests, complete Bible story missions, learn and ask questions. It can be an interactive digital play and learn space utilising a very popular game and socialising platform.  There are a few 'Christian' games, or places, but maybe one...

We are wanting to continue our Kid zone and kid zone tots programs by putting them online in a face book venue.  Using resources that can be placed in a bag and delivered to each persons home we can make videos on face book that will help the children to connect and learn all about Jesus by reading stories, videoing object lessons, sharing games/songs and instructions for craft items ect that come in the bag. Each bag will link to a theme which our whole church will be following. This idea...

Alpha Youth Zooming

During our time online, we still caught up with our kids over zoom.  To ensure that they were depending their faith, we went back to the basics by watching the Alpha youth program over zoom through sharing our screen. It gave the opportunity to engage in deep discussions about the topics which they were discussing.  The kids feedback was that it was interesting and they connected well with the Alpha youth series.

Youtube Humour Ads for Corps Life

It is great to have a laugh.  Kids love tik-tok for this reason.   Houston Northwest has tried a couple 'ads' for our youth and for telling scripture.  The Salvation Army in Switzerland does a great job with their humour ads -you don't need to understand German/French to love them.  Here are some examples: Funny Ad for Corps – Ask! Houston Northwest Corps https://www.facebook.com/1116308014/videos/10222113995935014/?extid=7etOqEifovcUmVTK   Run the Race Verses / Expressions...

For young adults, blog/Chick-lit Fiction books of a modern re-telling of Jane Austen (or similar favorites) books set in a Salvation Army setting.  Example, these are fun 'books' created for young adults dealing with hints of spiritual ideas, reaching community needs and romance.
