It has become increasingly obvious, that many who access our Doorways Centres cannot afford the basic necessities of life.  Toiletries for Both Men and Women are in demand through our Centres, and it would be great if we could team up with one of the large supermarket chains; eg Woolworths, and have Dignity Bags with item tags on them, that shoppers could take on their way into the store, and fill whilst they are undertaking their shopping.   Items could include: toothpaste, toothbrush,...

Kindness changes people and points them towards God. what if we were able to be kind to multiple people by paying to discount petrol to a $1 a litre and when people ask we tell them this is what Jesus would do if He we here.. It’s sharing Gods love in a practical way. Romans 2:4 says “ In kindness he takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change.”Romans‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Children need to understand the world and the going's on locally, Who is who and a local church could easily honor families and communities being abundant and loving especially where raising children is concerned and that is why it could be a time slot at the church for parents to help children understand the world around them and just as members of the community this arrangement could have a basic format and some set activities and people could naturally progress in determinism to thrive...

A global hub on the internet for people to clearly state the conditions they are living in or request the possibility of aid if it needed. The Church is of humility and understanding and has a likelihood of making a safe place for people to share what sanitation is like for them if it is so that they have turmoil or they have depleted resources etcetera  so the incentive for people sharing directly what might be occurring for them is that presumably someone could help them charitably if only...

When consolidation is minimal or none and associatively people can avoid discussion about matters the Social meet up group could be about opening the doors for a few hours in the afternoon late in the week or on a Saturday afternoon solely for one another to share as participants whom would like to bring about transformation or human evolvement with Christ as the disciple and to be of goodwill or to meet kind hearted folk and the group based on what each individual person is consuming there...

Bibles could be allocated to Officers during their donation drives and made available for people to take. Not pushed on them just there and available.

I see a gap that is readily filled and needed. I see, and can confirm as a young person that marching bands are sought out by young people but are not available in our communities in Australia. I see there are Salvation Army Officers who can share their marching and music experience and, I see eagerness and their eyes light up when I talk about it. I see community events like fairs, festivals, markets, holidays e.g Christmas, Easter. and also other public holidays, tourism weekends in...

I have worked on the front-line mission of TSA and at headquarters. Both areas give a different view of our wonderful organisation. We could invest in limiting any disconnect between THQ and front-line ministry by giving the opportunity for workers in THQ to spend maybe 2-4 weeks experiencing the front-line TSA ministry of their choice, anywhere in Australia. This would develop greater awareness of the needs on the front-line. We could also offer the reverse so that front-line workers can...

For Australians and Chinese, many people have nowhere to ask for help because of language barriers. Over the years, the Salvation Army has actively strived for a platform to serve the Chinese and strive for the interests of the Chinese. Australia [Savior] has a good reputation and brand, providing good professional assistance for Australian homeless, violent victims, and those who are unable to solve difficulties. If the Chinese service platform is established successfully, it will be the...

It happens to ethnic Chinese people when facing hardships and don’t know where to get help from apart from Centrelink. The alternative organisation that comes to mind is The Salvos. But the problem is most of these vulnerable people could not express well in English the emotional and monetary issues they are experiencing. I wish that the Salvation Army would do some marketing and social research to investigate and confirm that it is a necessity to have a support group from the Salvos...
