Business Chaplain

Business Chaplaincy is where a business or company hires from The Salvation Army a chaplain for a period of time (1-3 years) so as their employees and management can gain access to a chaplain to help their staff/management with any emotional help. The tools the Chaplain brings will be the PLP and a listening ear as well as easy access to the wider services of The Salvation Army.

Soldiership Recruiting Campaign

We have an annual campaign to recruit officers. Why don't we have a similar one to encourage people to become soldiers? Without lots of soldiers, we're not going to recruit many officers. And I personally believe soldiership is a meaningful covenant we should be encouraging our people to explore. Have someone go around and film some testimony videos from different soldiers around the country. Find out why soldiership is important to them. Distribute videos to Corps and ask them to play...

Go Anywhere - Swipe cards and access to TSA buildings, room bookings, printers and parking

As a national organisation where there are hundreds of locations and collaboration is regular and encouraged, it would be helpful to be able to access local resources that you would ordinarily have permission to use. Printing Having a standard access card which allows you to print at any location would be very helpful for events, meetings and activities. At Redfern THQ you can: - print to the "YSoft printer" - go to any printer in the building - swipe your card...and it prints out...

Dignity Pack

It has become increasingly obvious, that many who access our Doorways Centres cannot afford the basic necessities of life.  Toiletries for Both Men and Women are in demand through our Centres, and it would be great if we could team up with one of the large supermarket chains; eg Woolworths, and have Dignity Bags with item tags on them, that shoppers could take on their way into the store, and fill whilst they are undertaking their shopping.   Items could include: toothpaste, toothbrush,...

Pay for petrol

Kindness changes people and points them towards God. what if we were able to be kind to multiple people by paying to discount petrol to a $1 a litre and when people ask we tell them this is what Jesus would do if He we here.. It’s sharing Gods love in a practical way. Romans 2:4 says “ In kindness he takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change.”Romans‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭MSG‬‬

A space for Parental guidance offering children help to understand.

Children need to understand the world and the going's on locally, Who is who and a local church could easily honor families and communities being abundant and loving especially where raising children is concerned and that is why it could be a time slot at the church for parents to help children understand the world around them and just as members of the community this arrangement could have a basic format and some set activities and people could naturally progress in determinism to thrive...

A website that diplays concise Living Standards around the world.

A global hub on the internet for people to clearly state the conditions they are living in or request the possibility of aid if it needed. The Church is of humility and understanding and has a likelihood of making a safe place for people to share what sanitation is like for them if it is so that they have turmoil or they have depleted resources etcetera  so the incentive for people sharing directly what might be occurring for them is that presumably someone could help them charitably if only...

Social meet ups ideally to Self Help

When consolidation is minimal or none and associatively people can avoid discussion about matters the Social meet up group could be about opening the doors for a few hours in the afternoon late in the week or on a Saturday afternoon solely for one another to share as participants whom would like to bring about transformation or human evolvement with Christ as the disciple and to be of goodwill or to meet kind hearted folk and the group based on what each individual person is consuming there...

Salvo Mentor

Our greatest asset is our people. with the advances of technology it means we can have a wider scope of influence, assistance And peer-to-peer support. My proposal is to have the I.T. department develop an ap where mentors and mentorees can be linked, share information, communicate and to pass on time learned lessons.   Many of our retired Officers have a wealth of information and it has been my experience to learn that many still have a lot to give. Why stifle that by age or distance?...

Uber Positive Lifestyle Program

We have been actively building methods for people to connect to PLP via technology. One of these methods is allow trauma informed choice for people who facilitate PLP to be available on a platform that there is choice for community members.  We recognise that PLP facilitation and time is not realistic for Corps leaders to facilitate.  We would like to onboard the 700+ PLP facilitators to have a shared software system so they can design their profile to be available to the community and...
